Yes, Birgitta, it is missing the entire SQLCA. I had not noticed this before, but I have global D-specs defined.

Hi,
you mean you are missing the complete SQLCA?
This may sometimes happen, if there are no global variables defined (or only
defined in Copy Members).
Just define a dummy global D-spec and the SQLCA will be included (I also run
sometimes into this problem).
... I thought there may be a PTF.

Betreff: SQL Pre-compiler Fields Names Undefined
I am having a problem getting an SQLRPGLE program to compile. The code is
at
http://code.midrange.com/606a197b81.html .
After clearing up some fat finger errors, the only errors that I am getting
now are RNF7030 The name or indicator is not defined. And all of the
undefined field names are those created by the pre-compiler, including basic
thing, like sqlstate and sqlcode. I've double- (and triple-) checked that
the source member type is SQLRPGLE (even copied and pasted it here in case
dyslexia was setting in).
I have compared it to a similar program that I wrote last year. Even
re-compiled that one to be sure that, perhaps, a recent PTF changed
something, but that program compiled fine.
I know this is going to turn out to be a 'Duh' moment, but my one good eye
is getting blurred looking at the code for the last five hours. Your
assistance is appreciated.
Thanks.
