They check to make sure you are not doing this. There may be someway to get
around it but I don't know of one.

You can use the CLI interface. Don't need the precompiler for that but all
queries are dynamic which may or may not mean anything since the system
caches the run time plans or at least as long as you are using the new query
engine.

is 0 and associated space identifier is *PREPROC.

Was hoping to see contents of the SQL statements that the rpg sql
program prepares and executes. Instead I get an error - CPF5D24 (
unexpected error during preprocessor processing ).
