The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I want in on that tutorial!

Hi Simon,
As I noted to Scott - switching to O_CCSID fixed it - but it shouldn't
have mattered since the system and job code pages were both 37.
I must study this whole CCSID/Code page stuff a lot more - everything
I learnt while at IBM is either obsolete now or has escaped the
confines of my aging brain. Maybe when I meet up with Bruce Vining
and Scott at Summit in a couple fo months I can get myself a fire-hose
tutorial!
