Hi Matt,

The program returns "regexec() failed with: regexec() failed to find a match" when I pass it inputString="This is a test" and regexString="IS".

By default, a regular expression will be case-sensitive. So indeed, 'IS' should NOT match 'This is'.

You can specify the REG_ICASE flag if you want it to be case-insensitive.
