There is no space reserved for the data structure, that's why you get the
error.
If you want to initialize something, you need to clear the pointer instead
of the data structure.

I'm getting RNQ0222 Erreur parameter or pointer.



gIstDs is declared in a copybook.

This must be obvious to someone used to pointers!
