I think there are several options - something needs to receive the file on the PC - this could be and FTP server, it could be a file share. There are commercial offerings to help with this.

You could set up QNTC or an NFS share - with either of these, it is a matter of using the CPY command to get the IFS file to another point in the IFS - the QNTC or NFS mount. NFS requires a free Microsoft component that runs on the PC - you can get info on this on our wiki site http://wiki.rjssoftware.com/wiki

With FTP you could write up an FTP script, or use Scott Klement's FTP API - gives you command-line control of FTP processes.

We have a product that can do that using a CL command - QCMDEXC would let you use it in RPG - the product is called Office Integrator and offers other PC-related functions, as well. The command OFCIFSSEND does just what it suggests. Call us at 800.rjs.soft and ask for me or for sales. 30-day evaluation, fully-supported, is freely available.
