Passing DS's to your procedures instead of individual
parameters is not a generally considered a good thing.

I'm well aware of that, Charles. The rule is DS for procedures returning more than one parameter.
I manage quite well, as I avoid returning more than one parameter where possible so I avoid the DS rule.

As far as your three char abbreviation standard....

I'd much prefer AcquireClientsWifesSistersDogsName()....

With WDSC, you'd only have to type 3 or 4 characters of
either name, so why not use the longer one?

Maybe because 90% of our programmers still use the greenscreen 100% of the time.

OldHbtDieHrd ( );

Or OldHabitsDieHard as you would say!
