Creating an XML from DB2 file using the XML toolkit -- RPG400-L

I have been assigned a task of converting a DB2 file into XML on the AS400
using RPG IV or RPG Free. It has also been requested that I read in the
schema for the XML from a website instead of hard coding it into my
program. We have the XML toolkit. Will the CREATEXML example in the
XML toolkit allow me to do this? Does anyone know if this can be done?
I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!
