I think this is in the archives and might have some details wrong. But if
everyone uses (for example) Client Access, you could assign an initial
program for all your users, and have it check the IP address of the client
when it connects. I believe it's available when someone logs on. This way
you would not be dependent on a file on the user's computer. If somone logs
in using an IP outside your range, you could sign them off immediately or
display a notification message, etc.
