A class called from RPGLE fails unless the property
java.awt.headless=true has been set when the JVM starts.
This can be resolved by adding this property to
/qibm/userdata/java400/systemDefault.properties.
Everything works fine until a totally unrelated task runs the QP2SHELL
program subsequently in the same job which immediately throws the error
-
CPFB9C7 - i5/OS PASE already running in this job.
So setting java.awt.headless=true kills can code that needs to run
QP2SHELL.
This implies that this property causes i5/OS PASE to be launched and
left open in the thread.
What a bummer?
I don't want to have to run the class in a separate job with it's own
java properties.
Peter
