What you doing with the *MODULE? Creating an ILE *PROGRAM with the same
name?
Do they do two totally different things? Then I agree with your
coworkers. Even if you have some H specs in it that preclude CRTBNDRPG
from ever working on the *MODULE (so that it has to be used with CRTSRVPGM
or CRTPGM) I wouldn't name it the same as an existing *PROGRAM. At best,
it confuses people. At worst the confused will try to fix the H spec so
that CRTBNDRPG works, after they deleted the copy out of QRPGSRC (assuming
you ran CVTRPGSRC).
One reason why some people discourage QRPGSRC, QRPGLESRC, QCLSRC, QCBLSRC,
etc and encourage one QPGMSRC instead. It might be different if people
were using a real desktop like WDSC or RSE instead of PDM and could set up
a filter on all ORD* members in all Q* source files in a library.
