Thanks for asking. I don't know anything about the OS support, but I'll search the API finder and see what I can find.

A quick API Finder search and a skim of an article[1] later, it doesn't appear that IBM i's data queue support will work for me. In fact, I suppose what I'm after isn't strictly a queue, but a mix of a queue and a list. I need to be able to process items sorted by timestamp, removing certain items from the front of the list and adding more items into the list with each pass.
