I haven't worked with jdbc4 but my dealing with two db's would require a loop reading through the db2 record, populating variables and then writing the variables into the sql server db. You couldn't just read/write in one pass.

Given your examples, I can't tell which woindex00 table is being read/written. You will need some way to distinguish between the two record sets, two db's and cursors. Not quite as easy at it looks.

However, jdbc4 may have some facility for simplifying this that I am unaware of. Scott does excellent work so a record read/write into/out of two db's might be a part of the package.

Just back from COMMON and after attending Scott's class on JDBCR4, I have decided to give it a try.
I have successfully connected to a sql server database and queried the data.
I'm now trying to take a db2 database and populate the sql server table but am unable to make it work
I have tried both of these commands. (both the sql server table and the db2 database have the same name.
Insert into woindx00 select * from woindx00
Bulk insert into woindx00 select * from tstmis/woindx00
I guess when I call jdbc_execupd it doesn't see woindx00(db2).
Any idea how to resolve.
Thanks
Mike
