I also use GENDDL. I like it if I am converting from legacy but I hate to
write DDS. What a pain. If I am creating a DDS table, a lot of times I will
create in Ops Nav and then use DBU to extract the DDS from the SQL table
just to avoid writing DDS. I think Ops Nav is way cool. Not sure how it
would be too much work.

One of my favorites is text and headers. In Ops Nav, I just type the text
and the headers and it generates everything for me. With DDS I must type
TEXT('value the will fit + mark rest of text. Then COLHDG and so on and so
forth. What a pain.

Use DDS & CRTPF to create tables. Use GENDDL to generate SQL DDL. Then
RUNSQLSTM to re-create tables.

Some of us think Operations Navigator is too much work.
