Hi Dave,
You can use an override to go from almost any type of file to almost any other type of file. For example, I frequently do the opposite of what you describe, where the program's output is PRINTER, and I want a DISK file, so I'll use OVRDBF to override to a disk file. (Usually because I want to read the "report" into a computer program and do something to it.)
So... you can override one type of file into another. Is that what you're asking?
