RPG doesn't have any UI functionality.

What are you using for the UI?
5250 via DDS?
5250 via APIs?
HTTP via ???
Java?

If 5250 via DDS, there's no native support for drop down lists.

I've seen it emulated by having a windowed screen popup right over the field....
