You need to add update in your declare statement. See below the last line
Declare c1 cursor for
Select PtZone, PtCart
From Ptl08
Where PtJob# = :wJob# and PtCart > ' '
and PtZone in ('$W','BT','BW') and PtGrp# = 0
Order by PtZone, PtCart
For UPDATE of PtGTyp, PtGrp#
