I'd like to take credit for being brilliant but it's a basic technique. The fact that you didn't know it doesn't make you stupid. We all have to learn things.

I wonder how many people here know what "unravelling the loop" means.

Thanks for all the great responses to my question about needing an OCCURS or
something similar. In reading through them this morning I read Albert's a
few times before the simplicity of it hit me. Rather than moving all the
elements of the array, all I had to do was move where the data from the new
record went. This is much less resource-intensive and much faster than
moving all but one of the records each time. You guys on this list are
playing WAY above my head!!! I guess that's why y'all get the big bucks,
eh?

Albert, I'm saying this in my best Wayne and Garth voice: "I'm not
worthy!!! I'm not worthy!!!" :)
