You're asking about globalErrorMessage, but you don't include the
definition of that field. Post the entirety of the two programs to
code.midrange.com. We'll have more chance of helping then.
In any case, you probably want to reconsider your design. Why not put
the mainline code of 'mypgm' into an exported procedure and make 'mypgm'
a NOMAIN module? Secondly, as Scott said, stop using UDS! Not only
that, but are you using the APARMS data area to pass parameters to
'mypgm'? That's _even_worse_ than using a *ENTRY PLIST!
I realize that this is probably an example to try to understand the
behaviour of some existing programs you're trying to fix. No wonder
you're having trouble with them!
