We had a similar siuation. This is what we did.

1. Created an outq with an attached data queue
2. Changed the print program to it sent it to this new outq.
3. Had a program monitoring the data queue and when entries came in it would use DUPSPLF to send it to the two printers.

Subject: 2nd Copy of Report
Date: Thu, 8 Jan 2009 14:33:01 -0600

We have a program that, as it updates a file, prints a report of
the changes it makes. This report prints at the Purchasing agent's
desk. I have a request to print a second copy of the report at our
CFO's desk, as well.

Now it's easy enough to add a 2nd printer file to the program, but
knowing the talent and imaginations here, I thought that I would
ask if there is an easier way. I.e., one that does not involve any
changes to the RPG IV program, though perhaps to the CLP driver.

Thanks.
