One other _possible_ problem involves calling an unqualified QCMDEXC... Without knowing what your initial-program nor what any other programming in your sessions were doing, it can't be completely ruled out that there wasn't another "QCMDEXC" higher in your library list at times.

Very unlikely to be the problem and other posts are probably closer (e.g., activation group issues, pointers to QRPLOBJ versions, etc.), but you might _consider_ qualifying program names.
