way to access/read email thru a RPG program?
Wouldn't that depend on whether the email is sent to your IBM i SMTP server and stored in the IFS, or whether it's hosted on a different platform?
If it's already stored on the IFS then use the stream file APIs to read and parse messages. Last week I was working on a program that does this.
If email is hosted on a different platform, you might check out the MMAIL utility from www.easy400.net which includes an RPG program that will connect to a POP server and download messages from that platform into the IFS.
