We are working on a project based around receiving XML data from
third-parties for a schema (XSD) which we have defined. We are processing
the received files with XML-INTO but as that uses a non-validating parser
we need to validate against our schema separately before processing. I'm
aware of a number of options for validating with Java or open source tools
but I am hoping to use the XML Toolkit (5733-XT1).

I haven't got the XML Toolkit installed yet so I can't play with it, but
from the documentation it looks like QxmlXercesDOMParser_parse_SystemId is
what I need (with QxmlDOMParser_setDoValidation set appropriately).
However, it appears that this function only returns a single data
structure of error information when validation fails so I presume I will
get only the first issue found. I need to have the parser process the
whole file and give me feedback about all found issues. I can see a flag
setExitOnFirstFatalError that can be set but I'm unclear if this is what I
need, and I don't see how it can pass me back multiple errors in the
single data structure.

Can anyone clarify this for me? Or if anyone has a working code snippet
I'd consider it an early Xmas present. ;-)

Kind Regards,

Joe Maguire.
