Well if the code you posted is complete what you are missing is the
most important bit - you are not testing for the *XML_CHARS event -
which is where the data for the elements is found!
If you contact me OFF LIST (sorry to shout but people always post
requests to the list) I will send you a little XML-SAX program that I
use to investigate XML docs. Use that and you'll see exactly what
events XML-SAX is "seeing".
