Alan;

I have a SBMJOBSCDE command that will submit the job as if the
scheduler had started it. It keeps all the parms and library lists
and JOBQ and JOBD set the way it is for the scheduled entry. You can
find it here;

Best of luck

Morning all
I know that there is a way to programmatically hold a job schedule entry
HLDJOBSCDE JOB(JOBNAME)
and there is a way to programmatically release a job schedule entry
RLSJOBSCDE JOB(JOBNAME)

My question is:-
is there a way to submit the Job schedule entry.
I know I could code the same SBMJOB parameters, but if the JOBQ or the JOBD
changes on the WRKJOBSCDE for whatever reason, this program would also
require to be changed for the same parameters

Hopefully the question I am asking makes sense
