Hi Duane
Did you specify the module library when you did the UPDPGM ?

Subject: UPDPGM did not update file level identifiers (6.1)
I changed and compiled a display file, compiled the module
that uses the display file, then UPDPGM the program with the
new module. When I run the program I get a level check
(CPF4131) on the display file.
I've checked the manuals (V5R4 - the updpgm page is 404 for
6.1), and I have not had this problem before, we just
upgraded to 6.1 last week and I am told we are up to date on PTFs.
The manual mentions that the updating module's library, if
different from the library used on the CRTPGM, is not used to
update the program object's reference to the original
library. Even with this I would still expect the UPDPGM to
update the file level identifiers in the program object.
Before I go through the arduous internal process of opening a
PMR, does anyone know if UPDPGM should update the file level
identifiers in the program object?
Thanks
Duane Christen
