I've to send via https an XML that contains inside a 500 to 1,000 pages pdf encoded into byte64. This can result in a big XML.

AFIAK, the limit would be 9999999999999999 bytes but I can't say that
I've ever tested that (In fact, I'm pretty sure I've never seen an
XML
document that's anywhere near that large.)
