Bob,
I'm a little late coming to this conversation so I apologize if you
already have a solution.

I have a subprocedure that you send the object name, type and library
and it will tell you if the object exist or not and whether or not the
user is authorized to it.

Let me know if you want it and I will send it to you off list.

Is there a file that contains a list of all the output queues on the
system?
I have a program where the user enters the outputq they want to use
and I need to verify that they entered a valid outq.

Thanks
