I once "accidentally" met an employee of DHL (they're based here in
South Florida) who told me they use IBS software. It's (I think) the
third largest shipping company in the U.S. behind UPS and Fedex.

He said one important issue for them was that it was so good at handling
currency coversion.

Subject: Re: IBS software package

Adam -

I haven't worked with IBS software, but I have a good friend (former
employee) who is a System i developer for IBS. I believe that their
software package is oriented toward middle-tier companies, not Fortune
500.
He tells me that feature-for-feature they often win the deal when
competing against the higher-end packages.

HI I am interested in any comments about your experience with this
software.
Anything you can speak about the code, the company, the users ability to
work well with this software, the RPG, etc.
