With Monitor the error message in the program status data structure only
says a record lock occured but not who is locking the record.
With %Error the error message in the program status data structure says

who

currently locks the record.
To handle record locks and separate them from other errors additionally
check the %Status (Record lock = %Status 1218)

BTW 1218 can also be checked with monitor;

I now there is a way to obtain who already has a lock on a record of a

file

by using indicators and position 91 through 170 of the program status

data

structure (PSDS), but does anyone know what the code is for the monitor
end-monitor.
