The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Well, you can use QLGSORT api to do this for you, but the MODS is not quite a friendly as an Array DS for this....
Dloosebucket ds
D ArrayDta dim(9999)
D Key1 4 0 overlay(ArrayDta:1)
D Key2 5 0 overlay(ArrayDta:*next)
D Key3 25 overlay(ArrayDta:*next)
D lamount 11 2 overlay(ArrayDta:*next)
D KeySort 34 overlay(ArrayDta:1)
Load data into the array (where i is the occurence value):
Key1(i) = 123;
Sort the array:
SortA KeySort;

Subject: Sorting a MODS
Hi guys. Normally I would google something like this before submitting to the list, but we're having internet issues here.
In my program, I am reading two files. Then, using fields from both files, I am populating a MODS. After I have populated the
MODS I need to sort it by the first three fields. I'm sure I've done something like this before probably more than once, but I am drawing a blank. Any suggestions are appreciated. Here is the relevant portion of my code...
Dloosebucket ds 45 occurs (9999)
D key1 1 4 0
D key2 5 9 0
D key3 10 34
D lamount 35 45 2
Read primaryf ;
Dow Not %eof ;
Setll (cuskey) secondf ;
Reade (cuskey) secondf ;
Dow Not %Eof(secondfr) ;
// Here I am populating the MODS and this is working fine
Reade (cuskey) Secondf ;
Enddo ;
Read Primaryf ;
Enddo ;
//Here I'd like to sort the MODS
