Manta has some decent course...it ain't free but it's pretty good. in my
experience the best way to learn is by doing. she has a readily available
amount of vast knowledge...you're there.

Subject:
Self-study courses in RPG?

We may be getting one of our former programmers back. She left some
years ago to raise her family, but may be returning.

She was at one time a pretty decent RPG programmer, but is likely (a)
rusty, and/or (b) not fully up to speed on ILE RPG.

Can anybody recommend a good self-study course in RPG, one that would be
compatible with V4 compilers and PDM/SEU? Ideally, it would cover V5
features (since most of our customers are on V5), but wouldn't make one
dependent upon them.

(Never needed one myself; learn half a dozen languages in school, and
you can pretty much pick up almost anything else.)
