Do you have "Allow service to interact with desktop" turned on? If not, RUNRMTCMD won't do anything that displays on the Windows screen.

I just tried your command example (substituting my own IP address, of course) and it worked for me.

Hi,

I am trying to use runrmtcmd to open up excel/work/outlook/etc on a pc using
the following;

RUNRMTCMD CMD('rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler
mailto:joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx')
RMTLOCNAME('10.11.18.1' *IP)
RMTUSER(USER)

RMTPWD(PASS)

When I do this, it doesn't produce the desired results. If I execute it from
the start/run of windows it works.
In addition, I don't want to use strpccmd since the length of the parm is
not long enough.

Does anyone have a "work around" for windows on this?

Thanks.
