Digging a little more I found were we also had trouble and IBM created us
a test patch which was later replaced with an actual PTF. I cannot find
a note about that PTF but that maybe someone else can help out.

Also there began to be trouble with having host variables in the SQL
statements. I know this error does not point directly at a statement
using host variables but does any other statements in your program use
them? If so use a local variable instead.

Hipers and Groups. When Trying to compile an SQLRPGLE program I am now

Had the same thing when we upgraded. So much for if it aint broke then
don't fix it. Wound up being really simple but I cannot remember
exactly.

1. Do you have any source coloring around that are of the source.
If so remove it.

2. Does the /free begin right on pos 7.
If not put it there.

3. Does the // ******* begin after pos 8.
If not move it.

Again I cannot remember for sure but one of these we found to be causing
the trouble.
