I too wonder if the Input Primary program RETURNed, thus leaving LR off
and the file open. There's nothing stopping you from debugging it by:
CALL MY_IP_PGM
DSPJOB OUTPUT(*PRINT) OPTION(*OPNF)
This would at least tell us if the called program is closing the file.
Then again a full DSPJOB OUTPUT(*PRINT) posted to http://code.midrange.com
may tell us more.
