Hi,
I am designing a report using STRRLU. I have defined the Page width as 378.
Start Report Layout Utility (STRRLU) Type choices, press Enter. Source file . . . . . . . . . . > QDDSSRC Name, *PRV Library . . . . . . . . . . . > LIB1 Name, *LIBL, *CURLIB, *PRV Source member . . . . . . . . . > TEST1 Name, *PRV Option . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 2, 6 Page width . . . . . . . . . . . 378 1-378, *SAME Text 'description' . . . . . . . *BLANK
However when i try to insert a field after column 255, i get the following message
'Starting position for field 'ABC' greater than 255.
Additional Message Information Message ID . . . . . . : EDT5960 Message . . . . : Starting position for field 'abc' greater than 255. Cause . . . . . : You specified a starting position for a field that is greater than 255. Recovery . . . : Change the starting position of the field to a value less than 256.
Any idea as to why this is happenning? And what measures should be taken to avoid this, since i have many more fields to be displayed on the report.
