Yup. You and Adam are right. Dynamic scoping is a concept that basically I don't even understand. I'm reading more, but at first reading, I can't believe that RPG can be anything other than static (lexical) from a scope standpoint.Ugh. The more I've read, the more it's clear that RPG is lexically scoped. What's not clear is where dynamic scoping would even be useful. They've got examples and as far as I can tell it's a way to override a global variable temporarily. When you leave a block where a variable has been re-defined, the previous definition takes over.
