If so I'd be happy and perhaps rich ;).
But I still have to go every day to the office and write programs.
In either way we hope we did a good job writing this "cook book" (redbook).

Besides the book(s) Tom mentioned...
I just saw a post from Birgitta that mentioned a Redbook I hadn't seen
before, Modernizing IBM eServer iSeries Application Data Access - A Roadmap
Cornerstone
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246393.html?Open
Chapter 7 covers embedded SQL.

Look in the manual and in the archives.
Thanks for the response and thanks to the others that responded. I
did spend some time looking in the archives before sending the
original post, but perhaps I did not know the correct search criteria.
I also spent some time looking through the RPGLE manual, the
Programmers guides and the "Who Knew You could do that with RPG" book.
I was looking for something that would give me some simple examples
that I could expand on.
What manual(s) do you suggest? It seems like when I have looked
though some of the SQL manuals, they read more like a standards
manual than a how to use it manual. Perhaps a section on "getting
started" or an overview or do I just have to bite the bullet and wade
though it?
Thanks
