I've declared a data structure based on the DSPF that is already in the F specs of my program. ( what I really wanted was to do a LIKEREC
format name ).

The program will not compile because a subzone called *IN36 is
generated in my DS. In the DDS, this indicator is declared at file
level. It's associated with the HELP keyword.

The way to handle indicators in externally-described data structures is
to use rename specs.

D ds e ds
D in36 e extfld(*in36)

But why can't you use LIKEREC?
