With *CHG, if you do not COMMIT the transactions, they will be rolled back
out at the end.
People often work around that by compiling with COMMIT(*NONE).
If you are going to stay with commit(*none) then a better way (so you
don't run into this error the next time you mass recompile) is to insert a
code section similar to this:
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Set Option
C+ Naming = *Sys,
C+ Commit = *None,
C+ UsrPrf = *User,
C+ DynUsrPrf = *User,
C+ Datfmt = *iso,
C+ CloSqlCsr = *EndMod
C/END-EXEC
This is SQL's version of the H spec.

Now, another poster suggested you actually use the commitment control. I
suggest you look into this. Look up COMMIT in your RPG manuals.
