The first thing listed on the page is the free-format syntax for the
CLEAR op-code. (If it weren't allowed in free form, it would suggest an
alternative instead of listing the syntax.)
You can use the same technique to see whether any op-code is allowed in
free format. Just go to the following page, find the op-code in
question, and click on it:
