Re: ODBC was: Trigger programme without a trigger.

In this one I was leaving triggers, constraints, real date fields and
everything else of value out of it.
I was going to your example of I/O module only.
However, and this is the part that seems to grind you, the I/O module
would be on that one ODBC client.

So the design is:
- no triggers, constraints, etc
- I/O module only
- I/O module is controlled, and executed on, the ODBC client.
