Rule number 1: Never use SBMJOB CMD(CALL MYPROGRAM) if the call has
parameters. Never.
Suggestions to change that include:
- SBMJOB RQSDTA(...) which, I've been told, was the only way to do it on
the S/38 as CMD(...) was not an option.
- SBMJOB CMD(MYCMD PARM(...)) Using a custom command instead of a call
will ensure that the parameters get passed right.
