CHGPF will only cause the loss of data if you change an existing data
type....adding new fields will have no impact on existing data.

Also, don't forget or in case your class has not covered it yet, you will
"lose" all existing data when you recompile the PF. Back it up before you
re-create/compile the PF so you can use CPYF to repopulate the original PF
data.
