Re: Embedded Sql not writing records

A) What commit level is the program compiled with? If it is anything
other than *none, then you need to commit the data.
2) Are you actually executing the insert statement? Is it ever reached
in the program?
iii) What is the value of SQLCODE or SQLSTATE after the insert? That
will tell you why the write failed, if it did fail.

Ok,
I have recompiled the program as an SQLRPGLE object and added the
following:

insert into Pharmcd (Phacctno, PhDiv, PhVndno, Phcrmno,
PhCrmdt, Phcrmamt, Phcrmddt, PhDocTyp,
PhVndtrm, Phclccrd, PhOvrAmt) Values(
:Wacctno, :Wacctdiv, :Wvndno, :Wcrdmno,
:Wcrdmdt, :Wcrdmamt, :Wduedt, :WDocTyp,
:Wvndtrms, :Wclccstcrd, :WOvrAmt);

It compiles successfully, and runs without any errors, what it does not
do, is write the data.....

I have checked the values of the variables and there is data
there.....suggestions?
