The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I know how to create an *OVL object, but is it possible to retrieve the
binary portion of the overlay?
The only method that I can see to get the overlay is to create a save
file, and move the overlay to the save file. At this point, I would then
need to dissect the overlay from the save file itself. Is there an API
that may be used to potentially retrieve the binary portion of the
overlay from the *OVL object to the IFS or to a source physical file
member?
Thanks,
Erick
