Check out Craig's open source tools, he has an O-Spec to external PRTF tool.
You may have to tweak the source that is created, but it's a good start.

THis is sone legacy code to make over to a PRTF. It doesn't use the
Except. I guess it is based on those indicators, then it prints if *IN50
is on and *95 is off ?

How would I convert this puppy?

I was just wanting to confirm that you CANNOT print the barcode in an RPG
program that is O-Spec defined as opposed to using the PRTF? I just heard
that it is able to be done in the O-Spec. This would be a better option
than making over, a legacy program replete with cycle controlled
indicators.

it *can* be done...but you'll need to know the print control characters to
put into the O specs for the printer.
