Divide your number by 16. Save the result. . The remainder (in hex; (e.g. remainder 11 = B)) is your first hex digit.
Divide the result by 16. Save the result. The remainder (in hex, (e.g. remainder 13 = D)) is your next hex digit.
Keep repeating the process until the result is zero.
