The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

While modifying a rather complex program the question came up if there exists a possibility to get some status feedback if any of the records in the subfile has been updated.
This would have to be without doing a READC or any i/o on the subfile.
Ideally this would be through the i/o feedback area or some flag in the control record.
