Not that you are using it, but the Wait parameter is incorrect. Wait is on
the receive data queue API. The optional parameters on the send in that
position are the "Key" information.

Subject: QsnddtaQ API

Hi All I am having trouble with the QSNDDTAQ API when trying to prototype it
:

d SndDtaQ pr extpgm('QSNDDTAQ')
d QName 10a
d QLibrary 10a
d DataLen 5s 0
d Data 2500a options(*varsize)
d Wait 5s 0 options(*nopass:*omit)
d misend e ds extname(misend)

In my program I get error message :

Message ID . . . . . . : CPF24B4 Severity . . . . . . . :
40
Message type . . . . . :
Escape
Date sent . . . . . . : 04/08/08 Time sent . . . . . . :
08:27:20

Message . . . . : Severe error while addressing parameter
list.
Cause . . . . . : An addressing exception was received when attempting
to
access a
parameter.
Recovery . . . : Check the parameter list and make sure that all
parameters
are correctly specified. Then try the request
again.

Here is the code that calls the API

// call dataq API's
SndDtaQ(Qname:Qlibrary:DataLen:misend);

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Nick
